HALFTIME: No. 1 Arizona 39, Colorado 24

After a fast start, Arizona basketball cooled down a bit, but held on to take a 39-24 lead over Colorado at the half.

Arizona jumped out to an 18-4 lead, but the Buffaloes narrowed the gap with a 10-2 run. The Wildcats found a way to recover and maintain a 15-point lead at the break.

Arizona scored 12 points off of turnovers, had five steals, two blocks and held the Buffaloes to 30 percent shooting from the floor. The UA outrebounded CU 21-19 in the half.

Junior guard Nick Johnson led the way for the Wildcats with 12 points and two assists, and sophomore forward Brandon Ashley scored nine points, three rebounds, a block and two steals.

Sophomore guard Gabe York got into the mix coming off the bench to chip in six points and dish two assists.
