Victoria’s Secret is that she loves to party, and almost exclusively at Club Congress. On Saturday at 9 p.m., Club Congress is hosting the third annual Underwear Party — one claiming to knock your socks (and pants) right off.

Club Congress is expecting plenty of people in underwear-only outfits this weekend. According to its website, 1,200 people of all shapes and sizes showed up last summer to cast their clothes off and party. Thankfully, they have a free clothing check so walking to the club in your bare necessities is a personal choice instead of an obligation.

If hundreds of sweaty bodies rumbling together amidst minimal clothing in an ancient Rome-themed party doesn’t convince you to go underwear shopping before Saturday, Club Congress has quite the line up of other activities. The $5 entrance fee pays for live performances by B4Skin, an ancient Roman photo both with a professional photographer, the human terrarium and indoor and outdoor dance floors complete with multiple disk jockeys — Satyr Entertainment, Bob Felix, Sid The Kid and Jalph.

B4Skin is an electric pop group from Arizona. According to Adrienne Lake of the Arizona Daily Star, it is a good old-fashioned Satan worshiper group who, “I don’t know, say, sold their souls in exchange for quick success.” As far as the rest of the line up goes, Satyr Entertainment, Sid The Kid and Jalph are all Arizona-based DJs who are loved by their following.

As the evening comes nearer and partiers decide on their optimum choice of undergarments, will men keep their outfits brief? According to WTOP, 40 percent of men prefer briefs, while only 25 percent prefer boxer briefs and a lowly 10 percent are fans of boxers. But, hopefully men are changing their habits up.

The Clorox Company conducted a survey and found that one in eight men wear their underwear three or more times between washes. It could be because washing laundry is public and might make you feel like you are literally airing your dirty laundry — or maybe these one in eight are just a little filthy. Keep it clean, gentlemen.

As for the ladies, any number of combinations of undergarments is acceptable and welcome — from Fruit of the Loom to corsets or maybe just comfy boxers. If you don’t like that side of the underwear scale, take a tip from Miranda Kerr: “Sexy underwear also gives you a spark.”

Whatever you choose for the bottoms, don’t forget that any bra is classy, since classic author Mark Twain invented the bra clasp. So those who attend the party can be grateful to the classic writer for the clasp that takes Morse code to break through.

The party starts at 9 p.m. on Saturday and is $5 for admission. All partygoers must have a valid ID proving their age of 21 or above and are encouraged to show up ready to dance their scantily clad butts off.
