Four UA seniors garner All-Pac-12-Conference honors

Arizona, at this point last season, was preparing for their first conference championship, while do-everything-linebacker Scooby Wright III earned All-Pac-12 First Team honors. At the time, Wright was the lone Wildcat to make the cut outside of punter Drew Riggleman and offensive lineman Steven Gurrola.

The 2015 All-Pac-12 Conference teams were released Tuesday and with Gurrola gone from last season and Wright out with injury, Riggleman was the only Wildcat to make the list.Riggleman was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team.

The senior averaged just under 45 yards per punt per game this season and has racked up 2,197 yards for the punting unit. Riggleman also managed to place 19 punts inside the 20-yard line this year, setting up the Wildcats defense for success.

His longest punt came early in the season against NAU in September for 66 yards.

Only three Wildcats, which included safety Will Parks, defensive end Reggie Gilbert and kicker Casey Skowron received honorable mention from the Pac-12.

Skowron nailed 17 of 20 field goals, while making 53 of 55 extra points. The senior tallied 104 points, which accounts for fourth best in the conference.

Parks and Gilbert, both on the defensive side of the ball, started all 12 games this season for the UA. Parks gathered a team high 72 total tackles, while Gilbert managed 36 tackles.

According to Arizona Athletics, the Wildcats will officially hear if they will be headed to a bowl game on Sunday, December 6.
