    “I help professor Schwartz with his research in Group Dynamics,” said Rosie, a Rottweiler-Shepherd mix, on Sunday, Sept. 20. Rosie was rescued from the Best Friends Animal Society and enjoys working with professor Steven Schwartz.

    “I prey on Wildcats,” said Prairie Falcon, sitting on a tree branch by the Anthropology building on Sunday, Sept. 20.

    Vern, a German Shepherd, takes an afternoon stroll with Jasmine Parker and Kyle Cooper on July 4, near the Anthropology building. Vern was rescued this summer on Independence Day. “You know what I mean, Vern.”

    “Where tree branches float, I follow,” Red Ear Slider turtle said, at UA’s turtle pond on Sunday, Sept. 20.

    “I’m special,” said Amber, a Border Collie, playing in the park on Sunday, Sept. 20, near University Boulevard with Kasey McEvoy, a recent UA graduate. Amber was rescued from Texas 21 through the Arizona Border Collie Project.
