People gather at the University of Arizona Museum of Art on the evening of Thursday, Feb. 21st 2013 to listen to various speakers and experts involved in The Rillito River Project, a movement that uses art to spread awareness of the shrinking rivers of the southwest. The event accompanies Broken Desert: Land and Sea, an exhibition currently on display at the UAMA, which includes artwork that explores the impact of human forces upon the desert ecosystem.
