Until the bottom of the eighth both teams were able to keep each other off the board. That’s when it started to unravel for the Bulldogs. With the bases loaded and one out, Cal Stevenson dropped a floater into left field to score a run for the 'Cats. Robby Medel shows confidence in expanding role

The right-handed pitcher from Arlington, Texas has had a journey through baseball with many ups and downs, but he continues to trust the process and know it will lead him to future success. Medel was like many young boys who were thrown into sports. Fresh faces on the diamond for Arizona baseball

The 2018 freshman and transfers will bring a plethora of talent to the field for the Arizona baseball team this coming season. The group brings strong arms to the hill, along with speed in the infield. During the fall, Arizona head coach Jay Johnson had seen growth and talent from the young players, and if they come to the field with what Johnson needs, they might get some playtime.  Read more

If the Arizona Wildcats baseball team is going to want to make a run at the College World Series, they’re going to have to win some tough games. This season the Wildcats will play 29 games at home and 27 on the road. UA baseball's Terry Francona Hitting Center opens with alumni game

The brand-new Terry Francona Hitting Center is officially open. Francona himself made the trip down to Tucson and cut the ribbon, opening the facility at UA baseball's Hi Corbett Field. The whole day was a celebration as alumni came to play in a scrimmage that was open to the public. The scrimmage was followed by a barbecue for the players, donors and season ticket holders. The day ended with speeches from head coach Jay Johnson, AD Dave Heeke, UA President Dr. Robert Robbins and Francona.  Read more
