LOS ANGELES — In a fight for Pac-12 South supremacy, the No. 22 Arizona Wildcats were outmatched by the No. 17 USC Trojans and came up short of comeback in a 49-35 loss. The loss drops Arizona football to an overall record of 6-3 (4-2 in Pac-12), but on the bright side, it don’t drop in the Pac-12 standings and remain at second place.  Read more

On Saturday against USC, Arizona’s quarterback Khalil Tate showed why at the very least he deserves an invite to New York City, and the Downtown Athletic Club. Halftime: Trojans running over Wildcats

The USC Trojans came out of the gate running and pounded the Arizona defense in the first quarter rushing for 116-yards. The Wildcats struggled to hold off the Trojans and fumbled on a punt recovered by Jalen Greene for an 11-yard touchdown.  Read more

Who is USC?

While the Trojans are atop the South Division standings, they are firmly out of the national championship picture. Inconsistency and inefficiency has led to a disappointing 7-2 record. Despite their struggles, the Trojans are still far and away the most talented team in the division.  Read more

Arizona fans more optimistic about football season

Arizona football has seen a change in play on the field, but not much of a difference of fans in the stands. What was supposed to be a sellout game consisted of many empty seats throughout Arizona Stadium. Despite the lack of fans for the homecoming game, the atmosphere around campus showed that students and alumni were ready to Bear Down. Read more

“Air”Zona: Wildcats race out to lead via aerial attack

The Arizona Wildcats are one of the hottest teams in the nation of late, and they got off to yet another blazing start Saturday evening. In front of a loud and raucous homecoming crowd, the ‘Cats raced out to a ten point lead over fifteenth ranked Washington State Cougars. Unfortunately for Arizona, a muffed punt gave the favored Cougars a chance to crawl back into the contest. A flurry of activity followed as Arizona scored ten unanswered points. The Cougars answered with a late touchdown, but the ‘Cats responded with a 57-yard field goal by Josh Pollack, making the halftime score 23-14.  Read more

Arizona royalty hasn't stopped cheering for 'Cats
