Arizona women's golf finishes ninth at Stanford Invitational

The UA women’s golf team finished in ninth place this weekend at the Stanford Intercollegiate tournament. The tournament was hosted by the University of Stanford and the Lady Cardinal repeated as champions. The Wildcats finished with a total team score of 882 (+30). The Cardinal finished at 847 (-5). Women's golf prepared for 23rd consecutive NCAA Regional

Arizona women’s golf will compete in its 23rd consecutive NCAA Regional Championship on Thursday in South Bend, Ind. Notre Dame is the host of the regional, and the three-day tournament will be held at Warren Golf Course. This will be the eighth consecutive season the Fighting Irish have hosted a regional championship. Read more

Weaver, women's golf set for regionals

No. 4-ranked Arizona was named the No. 1 seed on April 27 for the 2015 NCAA Regionals in South Bend, Ind. “We’ve played in Chicago in the fall, and we always do well there, and Lindsey Weaver transferred from Notre Dame,” Arizona coach Laura Ianello said. “She’ll be able to give us a little insight on the golf course, which will be great.” Read more
