Arizona women's soccer will host TCU before the start of conference play

Arizona returns home this weekend to face off against Texas Christian University on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. The Wildcats look to bounce back from their first loss of the season to Santa Clara, going 1-1 in the California road trip last weekend. They enter this game with a 5-1 record and have allowed just four goals in its six games, all of which were surrendered to Santa Clara last Friday. Read more

High press key for Arizona in 4-0 trouncing of UC Irvine

Arizona women's soccer started fast, intense and never let up in its 4-0 victory over the UC Irvine Anteaters. The ‘Cats dominated the run of play from the opening whistle, scoring three goals in the first nine minutes. UA also maintained their streak of not conceding a goal, which is now at four games, five including their opening friendly. Read more

Third annual CATSYS recognizes top athletes, unsung heroes

The red carpet was rolled out Monday night at McKale Center as Arizona Athletics hosted its third annual CATSYS Awards Show to honor student-athletes on campus. The emcees on the night were recently-retired NBA star Channing Frye and Chris “Geeter” McGee with live music being played by Kelley James. Read more

Arizona soccer readies for battle against Tennessee

Tennessee competes in the SEC conference and has found success this 2018 season by returning to the NCAA tournament. This is their second consecutive year competing for a national title. They had not been a part of the tournament before then since 2012. Their current record is 14-2-3 and 7-2-1 in their conference.  Read more
