Analysis: Arizona soccer's individual talent shows in game against Buffs

Arizona soccer was unable to show their true talent Sunday afternoon, in a scoreless draw against the Colorado Buffaloes. They Wildcats played very poorly due to very little organization, which led to an inability to combine with each other. This forced UA to take on Colorado defenders one-on-one. Arizona soccer is four games away from the NCAA soccer tournament. The Wildcats currently sit in the top 25 of the RPI rankings, and look to be in a position to host at least one postseason game. 'Cats tie game against No. 1 UCLA

The Wildcats finished up a challenging week of play by tying top ranked UCLA, 2-2. The Bruins came to Tucson Sunday afternoon with a total of 11 wins and one tie, enough to earn the number one spot in NCAA soccer. Read more

Arizona soccer falls to No. 6 USC in extra time

The Wildcats hung in with the Trojans for the majority of the game making it a competitive match for the 674 fans in attendance. In the 108' in extra time, Anthony redeemed herself after missing a previous penalty kick by scoring the winning goal giving USC the victory. Read more

Coming off another tough loss against No. 2 Stanford in Palo Alto, Arizona soccer found a way to beat No.11 California off of freshman Jada Talley’s 74’ goal on Sunday. The Wildcats were on a three-game win streak heading into their road trip against the two Northern California teams. Read more
