Arizona football appears to be at a crossroads. The Wildcats need to make adjustments after suffering a 55-17 thrashing against No. 18 Stanford in their first Pac-12 conference road game.
Quarterback Anu Solomon did not travel with the team due to concussion symptoms, which meant backups Jerrard Randall and Brandon Dawkins taking all of the snaps.
The Stanford defense clobbered any hope of rushing offense produced by Arizona. Running Nick Wilson carried the ball for just 46 yards on 17 carries. Randall added 67 yards on nine carries.
At the same time, the Stanford offense with Kevin Hogan at the reigns could basically do whatever it wanted, scoring 55 total points and 570 yards on the offensive side of the ball.
