The UCLA Bruins defeated the Arizona Wildcats by a score of 34-16, extending Arizona’s losing streak to 17 games.
This game marks the eighth straight game that they have failed to score at least 20 points.
The defense played good football in the first half allowing only 168 total yards. The pass defense played well too, giving up only 82 passing yards to Dorian Thompson- Robinson throughout the entire game.
Jordan McCloud played his best game as a Wildcat tonight, completing 21-of-30 passes for 182 yards. He also added 21 more yards on the ground.
Once again for the fifth straight game, Stanley Berryhill lII led the Wildcats in receiving yards with 59 on seven catches. Boobie Curry had his third positive game, catching six balls for 43 total yards.
Arizona’s rushing attack could not get going all night, as they finished the game with 119 total yards and didn't have a player finish with at least 60 yards.
McCloud was injured early in the forth quarter, appearing to hurt his knee after fumbling the ball. Gunner Cruz took over for him but could not get anything positive going on offense throughout the forth quarter.
The Wildcats run defense struggled to stop the bruins the entire game, allowing 329 yards along with three touchdowns. They had two players total over 115 yards.
The Arizona Wildcat's go on the road next week to play the Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder at 12:30 P.M PST on Saturday Oct.16.
