Tucsonans protest hours after US Supreme Court reverses Roe v. Wade June 24
The U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade the morning of Friday, June 24, nearly 50 years after the landmark ruling. Within hours, Tucson Women's March and other activist groups across the country called for action and organized protests in response to the court's decision. By 7 p.m., roughly a thousand protestors gathered outside of the Evo A. DeConcini U.S. Courthouse in Downtown Tucson.
