Bernie Sanders 'berns' Tucson for the second time
Kayden Clarke Protest
Protesters took to the streets of downtown Tucson around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11 to protest the killing of Kayden Clarke, a transgender man, at the hands of the police in Mesa, Ariz.
After about an hour standing in front of the Ronstadt Transit Center, the demonstrators moved onto the street, walking west on Congress Street to Stone Avenue, heading south to Broadway Boulevard, then back east to Fourth Avenue.
When the group passed under the Fourth Avenue Underpass, the Tucson Police Department declared the protest an unlawful assembly and demanded the crowd disperse.
They continued north to Sixth Street, where they turned west before splitting up and ending the march at the intersection of Sixth Street and Sixth Avenue.

Trump flew into Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport to speak to the crowd of thousands on one of many stops along his campaign trail in Mesa, Arizona on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015. Trump was introduced by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and followed by one of the first 100 women pilots in the U.S. Air Force, Col. Wendy Rogers. After a late arrival on his private jet, Trump conducted a live interview with Bill O'Reilly and then addressed the adoring and mostly white crowd.
