Charita Stubbs was named the next head coach of the Arizona volleyball team shortly after the announcement of Dave Rubio's retirement. With this promotion, Stubbs is now the first African-American head coach in the University of Arizona's volleyball program history as well as the school's fourth head volleyball coach.

The Wildcats were looking to get back into the win column as their two-game homestand began Friday, Nov. 11, against the University of Washington and ended with them playing against Washington State University Sunday, Nov. 13.

The Arizona volleyball team went on the road on Nov. 4 to face UCLA. The Wildcats were looking to build on their most recent victory but were outmatched against the Bruins. Their weekend play would continue with them facing USC on Nov. 6, and once again, the Wildcats would fall short.

The Arizona volleyball team traveled to Washington on Friday, Oct. 21, to play against Washington State University and then the University of Washington on Sunday, Oct. 23. The Wildcats lost both matches.

The Arizona volleyball team fell to USC 3-1. The Wildcats looked to bounce back from their loss in the last match against the University of Oregon but were over-matched against USC. This loss dropped the Wildcats to 11-5 on the season.

The Arizona football team played the No.13 University of Oregon at Arizona Stadium for their family weekend game. This was a highly anticipated game for both teams, as each team was coming off impressive wins last week. Arizona looked to build off the historic game quarterback Jayden de Laura had last week against the University of Colorado Boulder.

The University of Arizona's volleyball team regained its season momentum after a sweeping victory against Oregon State University on Friday, Sept. 30 on the road. Then immediately lost it against the University of Oregon on Saturday, Oct. 2, as the Wildcats lost in a sweep.

The University of Utah gave the University of Arizona volleyball team its third loss of the season, defeating them in straight sets by the scores of 25-19, 26-24 and 30-28. The Wildcats appeared to be missing something the entire night as they fell to the Utes.

The University of Arizona volleyball team faced ASU at home in McKale Center on Wednesday, Sept. 21. The Wildcats fell short in their match against the Sun Devils. ASU won in four sets with scores of 23-25, 25-20, 26-24 and 25-20. With this defeat, Arizona suffered their first loss at home of the season.

The University of Arizona volleyball team took care of their competition at the Wildcat Classic tournament hosted in Mckale Center Friday, Sept. 16. The team only lost one set but finished the day 6-1 in their sets to win both matches on day one. The Wildcats played Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in the morning and the University of Texas at El Paso in the evening.

The University of Arizona volleyball team handily defeated their competition at the Aztec Invitational in San Diego. The team had victories over California State University, Sacramento, San Diego State University and the University of Maryland.
