ZonaZoo to receive $40,000 more under new athletics fee

UA banned persons list made public for first time

The University of Arizona Police Department has released a list of people that have been banned from campus, or sections of campus, to the public for the first time. Currently 40 men and women are on the list, which can be viewed on the University of Arizona Police Department’s website.

Self-driving cars coming soon to Arizona

UA students may soon be requesting a self-driving car after Uber announced plans last month to ship some of its semi-autonomous vehicles from California to Arizona with support from Gov. Doug Ducey due to Arizona’s more flexible registration and licensing requirements.

SlutWalk 2016: Community members gather to protest victim blaming, rape culture

SlutWalk 2016 took to the streets in Tucson on Nov. 19 to challenge rape culture, victim blaming and sexual violence with a resource fair, march and to speak out. A crowd marched from the Women’s Plaza of Honor on the UA campus to Fourth Avenue with the help of various Women’s Resource Center groups.

WRC groups plan, prepare for SlutWalk 2016

SlutWalk, a march and movement aimed at exposing victim-blaming, rape culture, street harassment and sexual violence, will take place on University Boulevard and Fourth Avenue at 5 p.m. on Nov. 19, followed by a speak out at Café Passé at 6 p.m. There will be a resource fair in the Women’s Plaza of Honor at 4 p.m. before the march for anyone struggling with these issues.
