The UA does a pretty bad job of advertising all the cool stuff they actually offer. How many of you knew all Adobe and Word Suites are completely free? These programs typically cost hundreds of dollars a year, but being a student at the UA means we don’t pay a dime.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past eight years, I guarantee you have heard of a little show, now a big show, called "Game of Thrones."

Women have been shaping their eyebrows since the beginning of time. Historically, eyebrows have always been a hot button of contention. Unibrows? Plucked to nothing? Rounded or arched? Today, there are three main ways in which women tame and shape their eyebrows: threading, tweezing and waxing.

Spring Fling is an exciting and fun time for many students. According to the ASUA website, there are “over 35 rides, games and, of course, the over 20 original food booths!” However, I do believe that, for some people, Spring Fling isn’t all fun and games. The tents and structures make getting around extremely difficult, especially if you come in through the Campbell entrance. I learned this the hard way, when the whole end of the Mall was closed off and some girl and I had to fight through trees and bushes to get to class on time.

Maintaining healthy relationships in college seems like an impossible task sometimes. Friends we knew for years in school have suddenly grown distant, and the university is often the first time we have to live with people other than our family. How do you balance it all? How do you maintain healthy relationships in a world where we never have time for one another anymore?

Over the years, it’s really seems like the university and its surroundings have changed drastically. The site of the new luxury high-rise buildings used to be just a parking lot in my memory. I remember when that’s all it was. I remember when downtown was a mess and no one wanted to go there. Now, it’s in the process of being gentrified.

Whether you're celebrating a significant other, a relative or an 18th-century British explorer (what?), Valentine's Day has everyone thinking about the loving, or not so loving, relationships in their lives. Here's who our Daily Wildcat columnists are celebrating this year on the day of love:

Last week, I stumbled upon a protest happening in front of the University’s Administration building. The protesters were standing silently, and I feigned to see what was going on, before I realized it was in honor of Trayvon Martin’s birthday. Their protest seemed to rouse some negative opinions, because I overheard people saying their signs were “rude” and "out of place." It seemed odd a silent protest would stir such negative comments, but that leads me to my overall opinion of the situation.

Your first college finals are here! You must be scared senseless, but the point is to help you relax, not stress you out even further.

According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, greenhouse gas emissions need to be cut almost in half by 2030 to avert "global environmental catastrophe." (Doesn't that phrase give you chills?) And no surprise, we're not even close to taking enough action.
