Arizona softball began its short fall schedule this weekend with a 27-2 victory over Eastern Arizona College. This was supposed to be the team’s second warm-up game, but the annual Fall Round Robin even was canceled two weeks ago as a result of poor weather.
The UA women’s golf team finished in ninth place this weekend at the Stanford Intercollegiate tournament. The tournament was hosted by the University of Stanford and the Lady Cardinal repeated as champions. The Wildcats finished with a total team score of 882 (+30). The Cardinal finished at 847 (-5).
The UA women’s golf team finished in a three-way tie for first place at the Windy City Classic on Tuesday. They finished with a team stroke total of 852 (-12) to tie them with Northwestern University and the University of Georgia.
The Arizona women’s golf team took home second place this week in the Annika Intercollegiate golf tournament.
The Arizona men’s golf team finished the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate and took 14th place with a stroke total of 911 (+47).
Arizona men’s golf continues the beginning of its season this weekend, competing in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate. The tournament takes place today and Saturday starting at 8 a.m.
Arizona men’s golf opened its fall season with the Saint Mary’s Invitational in Pebble Beach, Calif., finishing in eighth place for the event.
