(01/28/22 6:57pm)

Arizona had the best bounce-back performance possible by winning the Arizona Intercollegiate title for the fifth year in a row. Arizona edged out New Mexico by only one stroke and did so by shooting four strokes less in the final round to tally out at 35-under.

Arizona men’s golf unable to take advantage after strong first day at the Copper Cup, fall to ASU 15-9

(01/19/22 5:42pm)

A strong day one from the Arizona men’s golf team at the Copper Cup on Sunday, Jan. 16. However, it was soon followed by a disastrous performance on Monday, which resulted in an overall match loss to rival Arizona State. Coming away from day one of match play, Arizona had a measly 2-hole lead, which was highlighted by standout freshman Jackson Norwich, who clinched his match win in just 14 holes.

After a strong freshman season, Bennedict Mathurin is ready to take his game to the next level

(11/15/21 6:36pm)

The Arizona men's basketball team has pretty good expectations both within and outside the program as they were picked fourth in the AP Pac-12 preseason rankings. While fourth may not tickle anyone's fancy when it comes to basketball at the University of Arizona, for a team that has not made the tournament since 2018, a fourth-place ranking could be considered with respect.

New faces in new places

(11/09/21 10:18pm)

Head coach Tommy Lloyd isn’t the only new face around Arizona men's basketball, as he brings in a fresh mindset and many new names into Tucson. Lloyd was able to maintain five key players from last year’s team at the end of the Sean Miller era, but along with that he was able to grab many new players via the transfer portal or international commitment trail. Some of these players look to play extremely key roles in this upcoming season.

Women's golf finishes third in Pac-12 preview

(11/05/21 5:56am)

The Arizona women's golf team was not able to follow up an outstanding day two with a similar performance by shooting a 295 overall on day three, which is seven higher than the 288 on Tuesday. But even with the less than desired display, the outcome was still celebrated by finishing in third overall, only behind Stanford and USC. Stanford was above the pack, being one under for the whole tournament. Arizona (+4) finished one stroke behind the second place team of USC (+3).

Week one film review: Arizona vs BYU

(09/12/21 8:36am)

Jedd Fisch and the new-look Arizona Wildcats lost a relatively close comeback effort to Brigham Young University 24-16. The first half was pretty uninspiring, for a lack of better words, but the improvement from half to half looks good in terms of coaching adjustments. Arizona out-gained BYU in terms of total yardage but the situational execution in the red zone and 3rd and short/medium situations when in BYU territory was not optimal, especially from an offensive-minded head coach. Let’s take a deeper look at why Arizona fell short in the season opener.

Don Brown: The doctor is in

(09/02/21 12:39am)

The new and fully refreshed Wildcat coaching staff debuts their schemes and game planning in a marquee game at Marquee Stadium in Las Vegas. With the season opener against BYU looming, Arizona football has never been quite the talk of the town like it is currently. New head coach Jedd Fisch has been saying all the right things, made impressive coaching hires, created a new excitement in Tucson for football and so far has recruited his butt off. The most prominent move he may have made, though, is hiring defensive coordinator Don Brown.

(04/25/21 2:14am)

Arizona football and head coach Jedd Fisch completed their first spring football game under this new and exciting regime. Team Gronkowski beat Team Bruschi 17-13 but this game was about everything except the final score. There were trick plays, plenty of Gronk, Fisch and fan festivities
