Alabama - LSU, Penn State - Michigan, and Tom Brady hosting Aaron Rodgers is what I am going to be watching this weekend, as should you. The combination of historic southern and northern conference rivalries being bookended by the two of the best quarterbacks to ever spin a pigskin wrapping up the weekend will have your couch suffering from permanent indentation after the hours upon hours of vegetation that will occur over the next couple of days. Film Student explores immigrant's first Thanksgiving

  Stephanie Silva, a University of Arizona senior film and television student, is bringing diversity into the film industry with her thesis short film, “The First Thanksgiving.” Silva, the film’s director, said that “The First Thanksgiving” is about a Latina girl’s experience celebrating Thanksgiving in the United States.  “It’s about a teenage girl who just immigrated from Mexico to the United States, and she is learning about identity and cultivation of this new home with Thanksgiving dinner,” Silva said.   Read more

Arizona Soccer falls to Oregon in extra time

In the 94’ Oregon’s forward, Bayley Bruner scored the winning goal off an assist from teammates Emma Eddy and Chardonnay Curan. Curan set a ball flying into the box where Eddy was able to gather it with her left foot placing a perfect pass to a incoming Bruner who finished the play launching the ball past a leaping Lainey Burdett.  Read more
