Regents to review student fees over the summer

The Arizona Board of Regents announced it will examine how student fees are charged at the three state universities. Gov. Brewer vetoes ride-sharing regulation bill

Gov. Jan Brewer vetoed a bill that would have set different regulations for ride-sharing networks and regular taxi services. House Bill 2262 would have allowed the state of Arizona to regulate ride-sharing networks, such as Uber and Lyft, though without the same safety standards and insurance requirements as taxi services. Students share experiences in identifying migrants' remains

UA students who work to identify remains found along the U.S.-Mexico border cited domestic policies as a cause of migrant deaths in a conference on Tuesday. The students presenting at the Honors College shared their experiences working as interns at the Colibrí Center for Human Rights, a nonprofit that helps families locate loved ones who have gone missing while crossing through the Sonoran Desert into the U.S. Read more

Proposed veterinary school gets no funding
