Red/Blue game thoughts and takeaways

The 2021 Arizona men's basketball Red-Blue game is in the books and fans returned to McKale Center for the first time in 574 days.  The Blue team defeated the red team by a score of 53-39, led by Bennedict Mathurin's 16-points on a 6-12 performance from the field.  Read more

As of July 1, 2021, the NCAA has approved a temporary policy to allow student-athletes in all three divisions to make money off the use of their name, image and likeness — also known as NIL. This is something many have been pushing for a long while, and it has finally come to fruition. Read more

Adia Barnes given new contract extension as the Arizona women's basketball coach

The University of Arizona and women's basketball head coach Adia Barnes have agreed to new financial terms to her previous extension through 2025-26 season. The terms of her five-year deal include a $5.85 million dollar base salary.  Barnes and the Wildcats had a season for the ages last year as they reached the program’s first national championship game.  Read more
