Will the Sun Link streetcar stay free through the new year?

The Sun Link Streetcar that runs along 2nd St., University Blvd. and Fourth Ave. is one of the main modes of transportation for many University of Arizona students. Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic Sun Tran has made all of its services free, providing thousands of students transportation in the area; however, that may all change come the new year.  Read more

Here's what the Student Union will look like in the fall

A lot of changes are being made at the University of Arizona campus due to COVID-19. One place to expect a few changes is the Student Union.  The Arizona Student Unions will be bringing back a portion of their student workers to assist the Student Unions Staff in areas needed. These areas include the Production Kitchen, Catering, Administration, Restaurants, and Marketing. “We’re planning around 60-80% former capacity,” stated Todd Millay, Senior Director for the Arizona Student Unions. Campus reentry update: Administration will 'allow' students to finish out semester at home after Thanksgiving break

The University of Arizona announced students would be able to complete the fall semester from home after Thanksgiving break. The update comes from the UA's coronavirus page, which states, "After much discussion, deliberation, and review of peer University plans, we have made the decision to allow our students to continue their semester at home following the Thanksgiving break."
