Five Arizona Wildcats crack Softball America Top 100

While the Arizona Wildcats and the rest of the league await the official decision from the NCAA to determine if spring student-athletes will be given an extra year of eligibility, Softball America released its top 100 players list on Monday, March 23 that included five Arizona players in the top 100 and two in the top 10.   Read more

Arizona softball heads to Tuscaloosa for Easton Crimson Classic

This weekend, the Arizona Wildcats head to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the Easton Crimson Classic, hosted by the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Wildcats are set to play the University of Alabama and McNeese State University each twice and the University of Texas-Arlington once on Sunday afternoon to round up the weekend.  Read more

University of Arizona alumna Tamara Statman crowned Miss Tucson

“If you’re passionate about something, you’ll find time for it,” said Tamara “T” Statman, the current Miss Tucson Del Sol and previous four-year letter winner for the University of Arizona softball team. When she graduated from the UA in May 2019, T wanted to find something new to be involved in and found competing in pageants to be an exciting new endeavor. Read more
