Arizona football takes on Washington Huskies for Family Weekend

Two of the top teams in the Pac-12 are playing each other here in Tucson this weekend. The Washington Huskies (4-2) travel to Tucson for the first time since beating Arizona 35-28 in overtime in 2016. The Huskies are coming off of a 23-13 loss to Stanford last week, which should be a key point in this game. Read more

Arizona women’s soccer cracks top 25 ahead of weekend road trip

For the first time all season, the Arizona Wildcats are ranked among the top 25, checking in at No. 25 in this week’s United Soccer Coaches poll. Arizona will look to add to its resume this weekend as the squad travels to the northwest region to face No. 15 Washington State on Thursday and Washington on Sunday. Read more

Arizona men's tennis falls in San Diego, looks forward to Oklahoma

The continuation of Conner Olsen’s winning streak came to an end at the Aztec Men’s Tennis Fall Invitational. Four of Arizona men's tennis players traveled to San Diego, Calif. this weekend to compete in the Aztec Invitational on the home courts of San Diego State University. The Wildcats were fighting for a championship title in the Aztec Brack, State Bracket and Warrior Bracket. Two out of the four Wildcats made it to championship rounds. Read more

Red face paint, loud cheers and unique stunts that put you on the edge of your seats at sporting events. Sound oddly familiar? Arizona Cheer is and always has been an integral part of Arizona Athletics and our local Tucson community. Despite the fact that our cheerleaders spend the majority of a sporting game on the sidelines screaming their voices out, it is no doubt that they can be credited with helping our sporting teams have so much success.  Read more

Arizona soccer falls to fifth-ranked USC at home

Arizona was on cloud nine coming into this game after defeating No. 16 UCLA at home last Thursday. The Wildcats, however, couldn’t keep the momentum going, as its 12 shots and eight corners weren’t enough to get a goal on Sunday, losing to No. 5 USC 1-0. The Trojans picked up their ninth win of the season and moved to 9-1-1 overall, while Arizona falls to 7-3 this season.  Read more

Khalil Tate leads Arizona to fourth consecutive victory of the season

Arizona football defeated the Colorado Buffaloes Saturday afternoon by a final score of 35-30 to secure the team's fourth win of the season. It seems as if Khalil Tate outdoes himself every time Arizona plays Colorado as the senior quarterback threw for a grand total of 404 yards, a career record, on the afternoon. Read more

The struggle continues at home for Arizona volleyball, loses to Utah 3-1

Arizona volleyball dropped another game to No. 20 Utah by a final score of 3-1 in its Pac-12 home opener, Friday night at the McKale Center in Tucson, Ariz. The Utes won the first set by a score of 25-20. Arizona got out to an early 4-2 lead, but Utah hung around until they took a 17-16 lead. The Wildcats kept it close tying the set at 18 but Utah was able to take control late.  Read more

Cross country travels to Indiana for Joe Piane Invitational

Arizona’s cross country team will be traveling to South Bend, Ind., on Oct. 4 for the Notre Dame Joe Piane Cross Country Invitational on the Burke Golf Course. This will be the first invitational on the road race for UA this cross country season and it’s a completely foreign course to all Arizona runners. Read more
