Looking ahead to men's basketball in the Pac-12 conference

The Pac-12 conference has been extremely underwhelming in recent years, fielding just six teams to the NCAA tournament each of the last two years combined. The conference, which has been the laughingstock of the power-five conferences over the years, will look to bounce back this season in what should be an exciting year with tons of top-freshmen coming into the conference this season. Grant Gunnell: the future of Arizona football

Grant Gunnell is a true freshman, but he’s playing like he’s been here for a couple of years. Gunnell, who enrolled early last year so he could learn offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone’s system, has thrived in said system thus far. He has started one game this year but has played in six games and has thrown for 1061 yards this season. He has also had nine touchdowns and only one interception. Read more

Standout plays from Oregon State's rout of Arizona football

Arizona football dropped its Homecoming shootout against the Oregon State Beavers by a final score of 38-56 on Saturday afternoon. Between the combined total of 94 points, there were some standout plays that went down at Arizona Stadium with a crowd of about 37,000 people. Read more

Arizona volleyball takes on Colorado and Utah after rough couple of weeks

Coming off only its second win in October, Arizona volleyball finally has some momentum heading into the weekend. Another reason for the Wildcats to be optimistic going into the second half of Pac-12 play is that they play Colorado on Friday in Boulder, a team they swept the last time they faced off. Sunday should come as a challenge though, as Arizona plays No. 17 Utah, a team looking forward to continuing their strong season. Read more

Territorial Cup rivalry to be renewed on the ice

No. 11 Arizona Hockey (6-1) will host the No. 21 Arizona State Sun Devils (3-3) on Friday and Saturday evening at Tucson Arena. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. MST.  Arizona hockey's last home game resulted in a 6-1 victory over the Colorado State Rams. Read more
