The struggle continues at home for Arizona volleyball, loses to Utah 3-1

Arizona volleyball dropped another game to No. 20 Utah by a final score of 3-1 in its Pac-12 home opener, Friday night at the McKale Center in Tucson, Ariz. The Utes won the first set by a score of 25-20. Arizona got out to an early 4-2 lead, but Utah hung around until they took a 17-16 lead. The Wildcats kept it close tying the set at 18 but Utah was able to take control late.  Read more

An astonishing accomplishment for Arizona’s athletic program occurred earlier this month, as it landed the highly talented, multi-sport athlete Lauren Ware. Ware is a five-star basketball recruit, No. 22 overall in the country, according to ESPN, and is the No. 50 overall volleyball prospect in the country, according to Prep Volleyball’s Senior Aces. Arizona volleyball hosted the Wildcat Classic this weekend at McKale Center before kicking off conference play next week. The Wildcats improved to 10-2 on the season after letting up one set in their three games all weekend against Alabama State, New Mexico State and Sacramento State. Read more
